Troy’s life motto is “Life to the Max!” This approach to life has taken him on many exciting adventures both near and far. A true people-person, Troy brings joy, positivity, and a big smile to every interaction. As he would say, “There is no such thing as a stranger, just a friend I’ve yet to meet!”
Growing up in Portland, OR, Troy was a three-sport athlete. This passion for sports continued at Whitworth University in Spokane, WA where he played college baseball and earned a degree in theology. For the next 11 years, Troy served as a local church pastor, including three years in Boston, MA where he earned a Masters of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
After a career change into finance, Troy joined the team at First Pacific Financial, drawn in by the firm’s commitment to integrity, empathy, and competency. As one of your trusted advisors, Troy is committed to make your world better!
Outside of work, he enjoys riding his bike several thousand miles each year with Portland Bicycling Club, reading good books, traveling to Rwanda, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
